9-pallon Euro-Tour ja Eurosport sopimukseen kaudesta 2006!!

Euro-Touria järjestävä IBPF (International Billiard Promotion Foundatin) sekä Eurosport ovat päässeet sopimukseen kauden 2006 kaikkien seitsemän osakilpailun televisioinnista Eurosport 2 -kanavalla. Lisäksi, ilmeisesti katsojalukujen ja muiden urheiluohjelmien ollessa myönteisiä, nähdään Poolia myös Suomessa yleisemmällä pääkanavalla.

EPBF:n varapresidentti ja IBPF:n presidentti David Morris toteaa myös olevan enemmän kuin todennäköistä että koko sarja tullaan näkemään ennen myöhää pääkanavalla, kunhan tuotos on laadukas ja katsojaluvut hyviä.

Dear Friends of Pool sports
We are very pleased to announce that the Dynamic Euro tour Diamond 9
series in 2006 will be broadcast on Eurosport 2. IBPF has entered into an agreement with Marketing Company Quaterback and Producing company Kozoom to produce the tournament series for Eurosport.
Eurosport will show all 7 tournaments on the second channel with a possibility of 3 tournaments shown on the 1st channel. However if the productions are of good quality and the ratings are good then there is no reason why the whole series should not end up on the 1st channel. The first tournament to be seen is the Dynamic Czech Open which will be screened on the 26th February at 18.00h. It is fitting for this tournament as we also broke all eurotour records for participation, with 256 players travelling to Prague.

It is with great thanks to our partners, Dynamic Billiard, Iwan Simonis, Aramith and Billiard Beckmann that we can bring this series to the highest level of media attention seen in pool for some time. We feel that this is a new era within the European pool scene and we have looked forward to this day.

I would like to thank everybody involved with making this possible and I look forward to a brightfuture with pool sports.

Näinä päivinä voisi kuvitella, että lähetykset tulevat täysin digitaalisena, mutta onko kanava esim. maksullinen vai maksuton?

Eurosport 2 näkyy sateliitin kautta.Canal digitaalin paketilla 338 €/v 12kk maksettua combo digiboxi ja lautanen kuuluu samaan hintaan.Olikohan 24 kanavaa tarjolla tossa paketissa.
