Tuossa tutkiskelin vaan aihetta vähän liimauksen suhteen ja löysin AZ Billiardsin saitilta (hemmetin hyvä saitti) ja sieltä keskustelusta seuraavan otoksen, jossa aiheesta lisää:
"I designed the Smartshaft to be a low squirt shaft.
Part of the design was a high modulus ferrule. That simply means that it will deform easily when it hits the cueball and will return to its original shape quickley.
To produce low squirt it is necessary to also reduce mass. That is why the thin wall design and no cap.
From a playing standpoint the results are clear. It plays better than any other shaft on the market.
I have been using one for over three years with no problem.
I advise people not to break with the shaft and to glue the adapter in.
Everything is a trade off. For high performance AKA "low squirt" you have to sacrifice some reliability.
Predator has had nothing but trouble with their ferrules.
The Smartshaft has far fewer problems.
I will make the ferrules available thru Atlas."
